Plot of the final Act

The Plot of the story:

Exposition:

Two clowns discuss about the deceased person while digging her grave.

Rising Action:

The rising action takes place when Hamlet jumps in the scene because Laertes confessed no man could love her more and then Hamlet could not bear the thought of this and had to say that he indeed loved her more than any man including Laertes.

Climax:

The climax of the story is when Hamlet and Laertes battle and they wound each other with Laertes poisoned sword and Gertrude drinks for the poisoned wine which was intended for Hamlet. Laertes confesses to Hamlet about everything and apologizes and soon after Hamlet got up in his dying moments and forced Claudius to drink the poisoned wine.

Falling Action:

The falling action occurred when Horatio came in the scene where everything happened and wanted to die beside Hamlet but Hamlet bid him to live and tell the story from there after.

Resolution:

The resolution is that everybody dies and Fortinbras takes the castle for himself.

Denouement:

The denouement of the story would be that Fortinbras would take over the kingdom and impose his own laws and keep Horatio nearby as an informer and the story of Hamlet well known everywhere.
